Brief: Challenge the structural limit of stone using post tension systems.

A research project with Webb Yates led us to test the structural opportunities of bracing stone with tensile steel rope.

This cantilevered structure allows a span of 30 metres with all elements working hard to keep its shape, while creating a dramatic shape to gather beneath.
